Griffith Aaron Baker holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in sculpture from the University of Regina (Saskatchewan, Canada) and a Master of Fine Arts in sculpture from Concordia University (Montreal, Canada).  He has exhibited and lectured widely across Canada and participated in an array of residencies and solo and group exhibitions.  Baker is the recipient of numerous grants and awards and his sculptures are in private collections across North America, and public collections including Centre d’Art de Baie-Saint Paul (Baie-Saint-Paul, Quebec, Canada) and the Dunlop Art Gallery (Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada).

 Griffith Aaron Baker’s visual practice constitutes a variety of mediums defined by common post-consumer plastic objects that entice the viewer to re-evaluate what they interact with on a daily basis.  His work is dedicated to the exploration of material and form as influenced by natural phenomena, popular culture, corporate capitalism, and humanity's relationship to the environment.
